Photocopy of A3 poster : Extracts from the Rules established by Mrs Elizabeth Bridge for the Government of the Almswomen in the Bridge Almshouses of which Almshouses, during her life, Mrs Elizabeth Bridge was sole Governor and Visitor : Rules 12, 13 and 14.
Rule 12 deals with the weekly payments every Saturday not to exceed four shillings per week with suspension of payment for misbehaviour
Rule 13 deals with the power of the Incumbent of the Chapelry of Marple to nominate or remove residents
Ru;e 14 deals with the requirement of Almswomen to regularly attend the service at Marple church every Sunday, Christmas Day and Good Friday unless prevented by sickness.
