1. 1.3.1962 : Obituary of Mr Robert Stanton Edwards (aged 72), who had been Headmaster of the Willow Secondary School for 20 years before his retirement.
2. Undated : Mrs Swindells article giving information on Mr T A Edwards, in particular letters sent to him while he was in South Africa for 6 months by his family.

Eight typed pages giving synopsis of letters which provide picture of life in Marple in 1911 for 'villa people', describing: local social events; children's schooling; theatre trips and concerts; picnics and walks; parties; attendance at Liberal Party, Women's Suffrage and Unitarian meetings; travels to Manchester and London.
