1. Typed transcript from Manchester Mercury 8.9.1818 ; Auction on 21 September 1818 at the Stags Head Inn, Marple Bridge : Townscliffe Estate, freehold farm consisting of two buildings, 46 acres meadow, pasture, arable, 10 acres woods, two coal mines part occupied by John Woolley and Samuel Beard.
2. Photocopy of handwritten accounts of auctions from 1807 and 1812 for estate belonging to William Radcliffe, cotton manufacturer of Lane Head, Mellor.
3. Hand drawn map showing Lane Head, Devonshire and Brookbottom.
