Description

Bound photocopy of data given by Christopher Isherwood to Marple Antiquarian Society late 1970.
This is a handwritten scrap book written by Mrs F Bradshaw (Kathleen) for her son Christopher circa 1907 and contains:-
(a) the Bradshaw Isherwood family tree with information about some of its members and details of Marple Hall
(b) a description of the life of John Bradshawe, Lord President of the court which condemned King Charles I
(c) extract copied from the diary of Revd Charles Bellairs
(d) "Journey to London from Marple 1831" copied from a copy of the diary kept by Anne Maria Bradshaw Isherwood
(e) hand drawn illustrations of rooms, pictures and floor plan at Wyberslegh Hall 
(f) some photocopies of printed pages from "Original correspondence of the Lord President Bradshaw" by A Craig Gibson
