1913 : Home for cripples - Country Nursing Home opened at Marple
1930 : Extensions to Crippled Children's Home opened and foundation stone laid by Dr J Howson Ray
1932 : Opening of extensions to Crippled Children's Home
1935 : Garden fete held at Crippled Children's Home
1953 : Fountain presented to Children's Orthopaedic Hospital
1966 : Appointment of Matron to Marple Dale Hospital
1969 : Doddy (Ken Dodd) dropped in on young patients after hearing they had been unable to attend his pantomime at the Palace Theatre, Manchester
1993 : A new minibus was bought after £15,000 was raised in four months by members of Buxton Road United Reformed Church, Ridge College, Treetops and many other willing and keen people.
1998/9 : Two Cuttings on Possible closure of Treetops Centre
2001 : Treetops Family Support Unit moving to new purpose built houses at Westbury Drive, Marple. Treetops to close and site sold to North Cheshire Housing Association for residential development.
2001 : 'Marple's Health Cure', history of Treetops.
