Photocopy of M.U.D.C. Annual Report by Harry Burton, Medical Officer of Health for 1912, containing statistical reports on the infantile death rate, zymotic diseases, births and deaths 1907-1911 with a breakdown of the causes of death. Inspections carried out are listed together with the nuisances dealt with. Recommendations include more regular flushing of sewers and notification of measles. In conclusion he reports a low infantile death rate, few cases of infectious diseases and a low death rate from Phthisis.
Photocopy of the Surveyor and Inspector's report by D J Diver lists inspections carried out of dairies, cowsheds, bakehouses, slaughter-houses, canal boats, smoke observations, etc. and reports on water supply, sewage, roads and the need for town planning.
