a. North Cheshire Herald October 7th 1966: "Childrens Home Opened"  - article on opening and dedication of Glengarth as day care centre for NE Cheshire Soc for Mentally Handicapped Children with photograph of Chief Guests. 

b. Marple Post Dec 1966 : article outlining welcome development of Glengarth as day-care-centre but highlighting poverty of, and calling for increase in,  such provision in Cheshire compared to Manchester.

c. Marple Post Mar 1967 : photograph of Glengarth building.

d. Marple Review Spring 2005 : item on sale of Glengarth buildings, brought about by financial pressure, lack of volunteers and new disabled access requirements. Also impact on Treetops Pre-school, evening classes and social club.
