1. Marple Bridge, Compstall & Mellor "Messenger" a monthly magazine of general and local interest from February 1867. Edited by Samuel Drakeford, The Parsonage, Marple Bridge. Price two pence. This contains a pastoral address, articles on Christian faith and life, a talk about ritualism, and the collection towards a new chapel of £150 in less than three weeks by the members of the congregation of the Independent Chapel, Marple Bridge.
2. Original unused Diary Calendar 1936 in aid of Ludworth Council School Wireless Fund with miscellaneous information from the period including useful wavelengths, land areas of the continents totalling 55,500,000 square miles, phases of the moon and postal information.
